Following on from our book of the month The Very Hungry Caterpillar The children in our 1-2 room enjoyed exploring fruits and vegetables, the children with support from staff cut them open to look what’s inside and all the patterns and colours they could see. We further extended this using paint. The children enjoyed dipping the different fruits into paint to make different prints exploring the different textures.
